Finding a good “fit” with a counselor can be a difficult task. When discussing vulnerable issues, it is imperative that you feel comfortable with your therapist. To account for this, The Shanti Counselling Centre is pleased to provide a free half-hour consultation to give you the opportunity to meet with a therapist to determine the “goodness of fit.”

To meet the financial needs of clients from all walks of life, we are pleased to offer a fee schedule based on a sliding scale. Rates are between $80 - $130/hr, based on household income... Or $25/hr for the services of graduate interns.

The Shanti Counselling Centre also holds a contract with the BC Problem Gambling Program. Through this program, The Shanti Counselling Centre is able to offer FREE services to individuals who struggle with gambling and/or those who have been impacted by the gambling behaviour of someone else.
