Graduate Intern in Burnaby, BC
The Shanti Counselling Centre is pleased to welcome Constance Hummel, a graduate intern from The Adler School of Professional Psychology.
Constance is in her last year of graduate work and looking forward to further developing her therapeutic skills. She will be working under the supervision of Dr. Danielle Duplassie and is available to see clients on Wednesdays and Thursdays. The fee for her services is $25/hr.
Constance has specialized training in Emotion Focused Therapy for Couples. As well, her thesis research focuses on exploring the impact sexual frequency has on relationship satisfaction, sexual satisfaction and self-esteem. In addition, Constance has three years experience as a Crisis Counsellor with the Vancouver Crisis Centre, and has been heavily involved in the development of the Suicide Prevention, Intervention and Postvention Initiative for BC.
Constance believes in a holistic approach to therapy, and seeks to provide support and tools for clients to find the answers within themselves. She incorporates physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects in her work.
In her spare time, you could find her enjoying rock climbing, yoga, listening to music or planning her next travel adventure.
